We have truly incredible church families & leaders who support us in our daily lives, and help us to be faithful disciples.
But there is a loneliness that comes with being a business owner.

And I’m the founder of The Cheerful Business Club!
I’m a follower of Jesus based in East London, where my husband and I lead a church family.
I’m a digital marketing specialist & the founder of creative Christian brands including Cheerfully Given, Cheerful Business, and the Creative Christianity Summit, and I’ve worked in the digital marketing space since 2005.
Now a Certified Master Marketer, I’ve been a freelance head of marketing for authors and thought leaders including Chanie Wilschanski, Jordan Raynor & Jay Shetty. I also teach other senior marketing professionals from a variety of industries as an occasional lecturer for University of the Arts London and ELLE Education.
Today, I support creatives and creators with injecting the joy and ease back into their marketing & businesses, alongside creating digital events, experiences, & solutions that inspire people to share Jesus through creativity.

The Cheerful Business Club is flexible for you, your business, and your schedule! We have different perks that are time-based each week for accountability or coworking, but lots of our members use the Community Hub to discuss their current priorities because it’s quicker for them or more flexible for their working pattern.
You can match-up with an accountability partner (or triplet) if you want 1-1 time to pray with another business owner, and the resources, devotionals, and recordings are on demand so you can access them any time you like.
Our monthly Prayer Session is a 1-hour live call on Zoom - but there’s a replay for it if you can’t make it in real time.
We encourage you to take action, and leverage your available resources while also making time for the encouragement, community, ideas, and problem-solving that comes with relationships.
The Cheerful Business Club is flexible for you and your stage of business.

We support product- and service-based businesses in The Cheerful Business Club, as well as “digital” businesses like course delivery and creation.
We have a mix of members, including those starting businesses and those who’ve been in business 5+ years, as well as people working very part-time hours, and those working full-time.
We do have a higher proportion of those in creative industries due to the nature of Cheerfully Given, but we also have members who work in industries like coaching and tutoring as well.

We know that people have different beliefs and practices around worship. Our membership has people from all kinds of churches, but we are all united in our faith in the Risen Jesus, and welcome those who share this commitment.
That said, if you actively disagree with and are hostile or in active opposition to any element of our statement of faith, or if you are part of a non-Trinitarian religious community or a faith group that denies Jesus is equal to His Father as God, then our community is not a space where you will feel comfortable. We are not a space for religious debate and should you join with that intent, your membership will be immediately rescinded and refunded.

Yes! Our Community Hub is intentionally based away from Facebook for a number of reasons.

Yes - you are welcome to join if you’re not a Christian; we want to be totally transparent that our community is from a Christian perspective and includes conversations about business from a Jesus-centered point of view.
Our community calls include prayer, and we share reflections from the Bible as we consider problems, challenges, and mindset/beliefs as we run our businesses. If you’re happy with that, come on in!

The Community Hub has different channels where you can ask questions, discuss your current projects, and get input from others.

If you are in the process of launching your business, and you already have your products or services outlined, then The Cheerful Business Club is a great place to meet others and connect.
If you want to start a business but you’re not sure what it will look like yet, one of the other Cheerful Business resources is likely to be more helpful before you join The Club.
The Club is about community, support, and accountability - but when you’re first starting out, you typically need more directive input - and the community is a space for mutual support and encouragement rather than answering questions for the early stages of planning a business.

Yes! You’ll get access to everything for your membership level (monthly or annually) when you join - once you’ve signed up, an email will be sent to you with the details for joining the Community Hub, and once you’re in the Community Hub, you’ll be able to see the calendar of upcoming calls, access the prayer & devotional library, chat to your fellow members, and explore the resources.

You have access to The Cheerful Business Club resources, content, and community for as long as you are a paying member. If you cancel your subscription, you will no longer have access to The Club.

In order to make the monthly fee as affordable as possible, your membership fee does not include 1-1 time with a mentor.
You can ask questions in the members’-only Facebook group, or submit a question for one of our mentoring calls (even if you can’t make it live!) and our mentors will be able to give you feedback and support in that format.
We do have discounted 1-1 sessions available with some of our mentors as a membership perk, but these are not included in your monthly fee and would be subject to an additional charge.

If you join The Cheerful Business Club and it turns out that you were expecting something TOTALLY different, then you can cancel your membership at any time!
Monthly fees are non-refundable, but if you join annually and hate it then we’ll refund you within the first 30 days of your annual membership because we don’t want to force you to stick around if you think it’s rubbish.
